Well I wrote it like that to get attention.

The U.S. President is considered one of the most powerful men in the world.

Why would we allow our country to appear weak by bashing our own president???

Sure it may be funny and he may be foolish or worse. I am not into a debate on what he does..we know this...do we have be so ignorant?

By making our leader appear a clown we are going to get our $#% Kicked.

Just in case you have forgotton, Pearl Harbor was a sneek attack----the only way to actually take America down---- theoritically speaking.

So do not think for a moment that we will see it coming. The world looks at what we do and we are making a mockery of ourselves.

The point is simple. Bashing Bush is not more ****** up than what Bush says and does. We would appear much more foolish if we pretended that he wasn't an asshole. We made a mockery of ourselves when we elected him (oh, wait, we didn't elect him), everything else we do is simply icing on the cake. Keeping an open dialog and a sense of humor are two key elements in maintaining mental health. Get over yourself. Accept diversity. Research the other side. Realize that you don't know everything. Ignorance is a problem. Silence encourages ignorance. You are not worldly so please don't come off as if you can comprehend what other countries are laughing at. Go get a degree in Sociology or world Affairs. Then bring an educated dialog. Otherwise, go away.

Bush has made himself look like a clown and the whole world knows it!! In case you have forgotten, the First Amendment to our Constitution has protected all Americans the Freedom of Speech. That means you can say what you want in defense of President Bush and I can tell I think he is making himself a clown!! The father of the current President did a good job in running the country--maybe George W. Bush can get a few tips from his father for running our country

That's the ugliness of free speech and it is a good thing. We should always be able to hold our leaders accountable. It's not always pretty but it is needed because otherwise power
corrupts. I don't think Bush bashers say enough. Or often much of the good argument gets lost in anger...I know. I'd say impeach the guy, but then we get Cheney which isn't much better unless his tickers stops...then who do we get? Rummy...oh hell no...Condi? There's no end to this pile o manure.
When talking politics I think it is important to look at the Latin root of the word, "poli" meaning "many". And "tics" meaning "bloodsucking insects."

If we are the greatest country in the world, do you think we should allow ourselves to be represented by an anti-intellectual, stubborn guy who got where he is due to family connections? (You don't really think he got into Yale & Harvard MBA because of his grades, do you?) He's an embarrassment to the country and we have not only the right but the duty to demand that he act responsibly.

It's called Freedom of Speech.
You can't bully everyone into a compliant silence. The Republicans certainly didn't refrain from bashing Clinton or Carter, in the name of "not appearing to be weak."

Its because we can as AMERICANS look down upon our
"SUPPOSE LEADERS." Granted they are running our country to be the youngest country to be farthest indebt ever.
Also have you heard we as AMERICANS have the right to "FREEDOM OF SPEECH." So why not bash BUSH he is the leader of this country so he shall get the bashing until the next leader goes into Office.

You don't seem to realise that the rest of the world can see for itself that Bush is a semi-articulate idiot. We don't need to be told by Americans.

Frankly, the fact that some of you have the intelligence, self-respect and freedom to say so is about the only encouraging thing about his election.

The fact that some of you seem to think that you ought to support a transparent lying fool, despite the fact that you suspect he is a transparent lying fool, is one of the least encouraging things.

We don't need American to form our opinions for us - we can manage that all by ourselves.

Because proud Americans consider our country to look strong when we are free to criticize our leaders. We believe that a country such as North Korea that prevents criticism of its leaders is weak and worthy of contempt.
