My personal favorite is, "This team is 3 and 5 on Tuesdays when its lightly raining" -- Susan Waldman WCBS moronic Yankee radio announcer. 10 points to the most ridiculous stat they've actually heard and please, don't forget to give credit where credit is due.

Here is my answer. Tony Kuebek on the NBC Game of the week in 1977 or 1978. Said this stat. That since Joe Morgan joined the Cincinnati Reds in 1972 that he is batting 385 against Bob Gibson but while he was with the Astros he only hit 176. That is breaking it down to a point where one does not even care very much.

Its not really a stat but Vin Sculley likes to talk about when the players were in little league, or where their cousins played ball when they were in Eurpoe. He doesnt really make sense some of the time.

I'm not looking for 10 points. 75% of the stats are ridiculous.

I can't stand when they say a certain batter hits a certain pitcher well because he's batting .333 against him. (2 for 6) lifetime.
