Use the HELP checklists.
Crawling around 8 months.
Walking first steps around 1 year.
Talking. First word: 12 months, 10 words: 16 months, 50 words: 18 months. Puts together short 4-5 word sentences: age 2. Btw, babies will start using signs and gestures earlier than words, around 8 months for first signs.

They should start to crawl I'd say around 6-9 months old, walking around 9-12 months old. The talking well thats kind of hard because some infants develop at a faster rate then others. This is clearly up to the infant themselves on when the want to talk. Put the will point out to things that they would want or need.
Yeah you definetly don't want to freak your mom out about this question. Good luck with your short story.

Just keep in mind that every baby is different. My son started crawling around 4 months, where his friend which is a month younger than him never crawled. My son was walking at 7 months and his friend just started walking at 1yr. So every baby is different. My mom told me that my sister didnt walk until she was about 16 months, she just wanted to be carried everywhere. Good luck with your research

Each child is different. My oldest started crawling and sitting unsupported at 4 months old. She was walking by 8 months. My 2nd didn't sit up until he was 6 months, started crawling at 9 months and didn't walk until he was 18 months. My 3rd sat up and crawled at 6 months and was walking at 11 months. My 4th started sitting up at 4 months, crawling at 5 and walking by 7. None of them got teeth until after 12 months. And there genders are girl, boy, girl, boy.

Well my kids rolled over at about 3 mos. and were crawling by 6 or 7 mos. but they didn't walk 'til they were 15 mos. It really is an individual thing w/each child!
As far as talking, they babbled from the git-go and were saying simple words by 12 mos. or so.

Here are the WHO charts for motor development. They give a window of what is considered "normal" in terms of crawling/walking etc.

Well, the thing is, it is different for all kids.. nobody develops the same way... just as one child may enter puberty earlier, kids starting walking and talking and that other stuff at different times.. too hard to guess, just tell your mom what you told us...
