I did when I went to my brothers school for Career Day. One of those little jerks threw a paper ball at me and called me a f-a-g. And the teacher didn't even do anything. People do not know to respect, do they?

How rude! And how rude of the teacher to not do anything. Hope this doesn't keep you from doing future perfromances. I don't know how great (or not great) your singing is, but no one should ever Boo someone on stage. It's extremely disrespectful!

Does that mean you are a singer by career? If you are then some stupid little kids shouldn't bother you. He was probably jealous of your talent. And it is very disappointing that the teacher didn't take the oportunity to TEACH the students.

To answer your question though, no, I have never been booed. But once when I sang in an auditorium, I got a standing ovation, and they wouldn't stop clapping till I stood up and bowed again. It was awesome... I often think of that experience when I need a little ego boost.

Well, yeah...kinda a bit. Omg...though I was so nervous, but did it as a favour for a teacher from primary school, for her class. The teacher was actually my music teacher, and I did not do well in her class whatsoever. I did find her intimidating, and she made me nervous, so strict omg...but I took her criticism, but towards the end of that year, I didn't like her much. Anyway...going on I couldn't believe she asked me, but she did tell me she was shocked to learn I played guitar. She was amazed I taught myself to play by sound. She smiled at me and says; you know I have to ask...can you read music...I smile back, and give a bit of a good chuckle...no 'mam' I says to her. It was pretty cool...so as the favour, I played in the gym for her class. I got booed by those who were the younger brother/sister of the ones I wasn't popular with in school, but for the most part, I also got a good applause, and many questions did follow, for some who did enjoy the sound. Therefore, don't hinder yourself for a few boos, I'm sure your singing is enjoyable for some. The more you sing, the more you learn. Use the negative criticism as a form of challenging yourself to better yourself. Keep trying...you're doing great! Thanks for asking.

sure! In 1970, I went to a stay overall performance that featured Grand Funk Railroad because of the fact the main act. The act formerly them, The Allman Brothers Band (that's the explanation I went) truthfully blew anybody away interior the aim marketplace. This become with the overdue, great Duane Allman on guitar. They did 2 encores and had to depart to make way for Grand Funk. The Allmans have been a no longer straightforward act to maintain on with and Grand Funk in no way have been given over the preliminary boos whilst they took the diploma. in all equity, it become in all likelihood a nasty selection via the promoters, because of the fact the Allmans ought to have been a considerable act via then. yet, Grand Funk become disjointed, the sound become poorly blended and the echo of the stadium did no justice to their already vulnerable vocals. They finished their act, yet a very good form of the gang (alongside with me) had left long formerly that. It become tremendously unhappy.

It is sad, but now a days kids do not seem to have any respect. Alot of the kids were probably just booing you because they were bored and thought it would be funny. I would not take it personally. Kids just seem to be brought up wrong, I think it is due to parents being afraid of disciplining their kids, sometimes they just need a good spanking.

No, thank goodness. And I'm just so sorry that happened to you. That was absolutely awful and rude.

Please don't let this affect you in the future...if you get the opportunity to sing to a crowd again, do it loud and do it proud...irregardless of what anyone does or thinks.
