It's voluntary and the opportunity to serve others is very rewarding. Helping others in whatever way you can, wherever you are, whenever, is absolutely priceless.

I enjoy the industry and the people I get to work with. I make fairly good money and also have lots of independednce to ge tthe job one without being micromanaged.
I also enjoy the fact that my company is very progressive in that it brings in the best people regardless of where one lives.
My "office" is in Atlanta, GA but I live in Denver, CO. So I techinically work from a remote office "aka my living room"

It pays the bills.
It's not stressful.
It keeps me up to date on the latest technologies.
My job allows me to help the consumer be less dependent on foreign oil.
All the perks.....travel, vacations.

im doing my part to keep the command and control circuits running so the leaders of the good guys can talk to the pilots that are dropping bombs on the bad guys.
