Not the ones I know.
I find it very cowardly, they want to bash the country but don't want to look bad. That is the problem with the libs, they are afraid of looking like bad guys, so they have to sugarcoat things or twist them just a little bit so that in their mind they can still look like Mr. Nice Guy.

Actually, yes, because most of the troops don't support the "war" either. Who exactly is this "war" against and what is the objective? Those that do support the "war" either have nothing better to do with their time or are just plain misinformed. If you really support the troops you would want them home not dieing in another country for no reason at all. Maybe YOU should support the troops like the liberals do and demand that they come home!

Some do and some are just trying to save face.

The ones that understand the power structure and design of U.S. government understand that military is deliberately set up so that the armed forces' job is not to make policy, but to follow the orders of our Commander in Chief and Congress. ( Congress has the right to establish military budgets and declare war). This design prevents military coups. Whether you are democrat, republican, libertarian or green, you want the military set up this way. Otherwise, our government would be very unstable.

Because of this fact, it is counter-productive to criticize soldiers concerning military policies and practices that you disagree with. If you disagree with what the military is doing, go after the politicians that set these policies. None of them are currently hiding their position on the war right about now.

I'm not sure what the troops "buy"...but I think you can support the troops, who are after all, doing what they are ordered to do, and be agains t the poiintless war in Iraq which even GWB has finally admitted has nothing to do with terrorism.
GWB and the neo-conservatives don't support the troops. No proper armor on humvees, not enough mental health care when they come home broken, low pay, loss of voting rights, not to mention that these chickenhawks never served a day but don't mind sending poor, minority and patriotic minded kids off to die for their stock prices.

Yeah, I think the Iraq situation is out of hand, and the troops there are forced to be there to make someone else richer and to fullfill their agenda on behalf of soldiers' lives. So, yes, I do believe the liberals really believe that mantra.

Yes I think they do understand it.,it makes sense to a thinking person.I fully support our military men and women, giving their all to fight this war, they have my total respect and support. But that doesn't make me blindly support an unnecessary war.We cant win in this one, there is no withdrawal strategy, because there's no way we can win.The only withdrawal plan is in 2008 when Bush exits office and he tosses the war to his successor
as their problem now.
My husband spent 20 yrs in the Army including 15 months in a prison camp in Cambodia during the Viet Nam war.I know what war means to the military do you?
Have you gone to war, have you fought for this country? Until you do or have you cant tell what a solider thinks or believes.

Do you really think they believe that you wholeheartedly support them while pasting American flags all over your car, and sticking some magnetic things on your bumper. I'm sure they're like "woo hooo, the guys back home bought another American flag decal, this really touches my heart and I know they truly appreciate all I'm doing for them over here." I think there are probably troops over there that don't even support the war, there are soldier's familys that don't support the war, but they support their children. You don't have to believe in the cause of the fighting to appreciate the men and women in uniform over there fighting.

I would hope so.
So far, I have yet to speak with a single soldier on the ground who has had flowers thrown at their feet.
Although, I can't bring myself to ask even one of them if they were glad when President Bush dared the terrorists to kill our troops with his famous "Bring it on" speech of July 4, 2004.

I support the troops' willingness and bravery to serve their country, even if they were lied to about their purpose. I don't support this war and I think it's evil for the government to send these soldiers to fight and possibly die under false pretenses.
