Hi everyone.. I'm just hoping to gather information of what americans really think of canadians. Please provide only intelligent thought out answers - I dont' care if they are negative, as long as you have something to back them up.
It really is appreciated.

Canada is the real super power on the planet. Canada is the only country that ever won a war fair and square against the U.S. (Aroostook County War). Without Canada, there wouldn't have been Star Trek(William Shatner).
The downside is your money sucks. I hate it when I reach into my pocket to find someone slipped me a Canadian quarter for change.

I miss Canada. My first girlfriend lived in Mississauga outside of Toronto. I have some incredifabulous memories and Canada left an incredible impression on me. The streets of Toronto were clean ... there weren't mounds of cigarette butts along train tracks or outside of buildings ... the food was awesome (I love those pick & choose markets and Tim Hortons cherry eclaires).
I know a lot of people say this about Canada ... but the people just seemed a lot nicer ...
I'm a big sucker for French speaking women too ... and Montreal is such a gorgeous city filled with gorgeous women. Oooo-la-la.

I don't really think much about Canadians. Not for any other reason than they seem so quiet. I rarely hear much about Canada on the news. All Canadian people I have met have been very nice. I went there one summer as a kid and thought it was absolutely beautiful. I wouldn't want to be there in the winter though, I don't know how people deal with weather that cold.

The only things I know about Canada are that they have free healthcare for their citizens, and I hear they have some awesome strip clubs! I also hear they are more lenient on pot smoking, but what really makes me jelous is that Canadians can get the Cuban cigars!! Other than that I never even think of Canada no offense!

Hi,
I have known several Canadians, all of the ones that I met and or worked with were very fine people, we got along really well, and had lots of fun joking together about our different counties ups and downs (so to speak) So I would have to say that every canadian that I have met I have liked. Both counties, Im sure have lots of idiots, but I like all of the Canadians that I have met.

I live in Minnesota, and I have no problem with Canadians. They are lucky to have a better solution for medicine. I have MS and medical cost are too high in the US for someone with a disabling condition.
