I already have an opinion formed, but I'm just asking for your opinion.
I think that, no he is not being persecuted for his beliefs. He became a scientologist before signing with Paramount. I think he was fired for his strange behavior (i.e. couch-jumping, Tom vs. Matt Lauer and Tom vs. Brooke Shields).
What do you all think?

I think it's because of the way he acts, including his religious "beliefs". He acted like a fool and embarrassed himself and the company he represents. No other actors throw their beliefs in their fans faces. I don't care what your religion is, famous or not, don't throw it in my face.

No other celebrity, cared about what Tom Cruise, said about Brook Shields but, I do. He should be bared from movies studios for that, forcing his religion down everyone's throats, and the unexcusable behavior on televsion. The Mother, of his child is in love,which goes to prove that love will make you blind and deaf to the other bad things going on. I have suffered with Stress Induced Siezures and Clinical Depression, for many years, and I thank God and my health professionals, for the medications that control all that now.

No....he's not bringing the money the way he use to. Last movie lost millions. His popularity is probably down because of his beliefs. I kinda feel sorry for him because he is so brainwashed by Scientology. It is such a cult! How could anyone believe science fiction as a religion! It's like making Star Wars a religion!!!

No. He got dumped because he's an idiot. There are plenty of other Scientologists in Hollywood. He's the only one that's gone completely bonkers. Poor Suri. She should pack her bags and hit the road.

I agree with you..... He is insane, and getting worse. I also think he is holding Katie Holmes back, she had a promising career and now we hardly ever see her.
