A lot of experts and magazines and stuff rank either Matt Leinart of USC or Tommie Frazier as the greatest. They have many similarities in terms of accomplishments. Both won two national titles and were close on a third. Neither had the best arm or prettiest passes but got the ball where it needed to go. In 1995, his undefeated Nebraska team met the undefeated Florida team in the Fiesta Bowl and clobbered them. Nearly ten years later, undefeated USC met undefeated Oklahoma and clobbered them. Both led what many would consider the greatest college football teams in history, Nebraska and USC. Although Nebraska was for a single season while USC was a 'dynasty' for three years. And Leinart has a Heisman. Who is the best?

Michael Vick was the most exciting and unstoppable college QB of all-time, and I really feel I don't have to explain why.

But as far as best overall college QB, I would have to say that goes to either Tommie Frazier or Ken Dorsey. They had complete and total domination and they both won nation titles and made it look so easy.

After last year you can really make a solid case for Vince Young. Without Young Texas would have dropped at least 3 games. I never seen a guy that could do what he did... but then again I'm only 22 years old and I haven't seen a whole lot in my day. But as far as Leinart.... I don't think he was great enough to mention as one of the top 3 or so best of all time. After all, LenDale White and Reggie Bush saved the day when they got down to Arizona State, Oregon, Fresno State and Notre Dame. Leinart at times often looked rattled when they got down, and he really missed a lot of throws to a great receiving corp. I'm not saying he wasn't good, but he's clearly not the best ever. Hell.... Akili Smith, Joey Harrington, Cade McNown, Ryan Leaf and Aaron Rogers were all better than Leinart if you ask me. Not to even mention Carson Palmer. They just did'nt win any national titles the way Leinart did.

i grow to be a huge fan of Pat White for the duration of his occupation at WVU and observed many video games in Morgantown the place Pat grow to be only out of the elementary (which comprise the 2005 Louisville vs. WVU recreation wherein he made his freshman debut: a magnificent comeback win which took us by using 3 O.T.'s and finally a time-honored of many huge wins to return.) regrettably, he's a few distance too small to play quarterback interior the NFL and could be a huge criminal duty for any team that placed him in that place. He could test as a WR, yet his suited guess, such as you reported, is enjoying for the Angels. Pat has the main effective arm i've got considered from a guy that length yet he's no longer the type to make sure defenses all that properly. My intestine, says that he's going to offer the WR element a shot, yet will finally opt for to play for the Angels!

In college or overall. I'll take the overall view first.

I would say Jim Kelly even though he lost 4 Super Bowls.

I would add Joe Montana, John Elway, Doug Flutie, Bernie Kosar, Boomer Esiason, Troy Aikman.

In college only - Bernie Kosar.
