This sounds like a sure-fire way to steal your money. Investing in a private company is reserved for individuals qualified to do so under SEC regulations. If you want to make a smart investment, read up on starting your own business and take matters into your own hands. Don't give your money to someone else.

A good investment is a good investment whither or not the company is public. Most multi-level businesses will never go public. I personally would not invest in one. If you go to the meeting, you will probably find out the want you to join the business and 'investing' without committing to do some work is a waist of time and money.
