Of course not!
It is much more productive to menstruate the eggs out one by one for free. Oh wait, it's not free -- you have to pay for tampons.

I don't think it's wrong and it is helping someone have a baby. It's a personal choice. Just know that from what I hear, it's not nearly as easy as donating sperm for a guy. You have to have hormone shots for weeks and it's not at all fun!

Absolutely! - Except you might have to call it selling and then....

As long as the "compensation" is intended to cover reasonable expences it's fine.

Otherwise the question is more like is it OK to auction off eggs on E-Bay? Which is fine with me cause they're hers!

I don't think so. If someone else could benefit and the person donating could be compensated it looks like it could be a win-win for both.

If you're being compensated then it's not a donation. I don't really see why it's different than a sperm donor.

Ask yourself this. Would you really want to have x number of children in the world that are yours, and not know anything about them, or have your child marry a kid that could possibly be yours also?

Each religion (and many philosophies) have their own moral code. So, each might come to a different conclusion in your hypothetical.

That is allot of money but it is a surgical procedure. Men get paid to donate sperm, do they not?
