I used to that. Except it was only when I saw a scary movie earlier. And I would kinga ask myself what would I do in a situation as those people in the scary movie and I freaked myself out. Yea, well, I stopped. I just stopped thinking about the scary movies and telling myself that they are fake becuase the all computerized and all the blood and gore is the magic of special effects. It helps if you watch "the making of" or whatever featurettes they have on the dvd.
Then I think about....whatever I want.

I know what you mean, it used to happen alot to me but since i just got married and I sleep with my husband theres' no reason to be scared, so maybe you are scared of sleeping alone in the dark. Try sleeping with a night light

I watched the ring and it spooked me for like 2 years, give it time, or think about friends, or a song you like. Or if you have a tv in your room put it on mute, and a sleep timer for 30 minutes, it makes you feel like you are not alone.

It will go away soon. Those thoughts have happened to me on and off for years now. Now, mostly none of the movies scare me.

So the point is you like scary movies.

"Ring ring....Hello....EEE EEE EEE EEE"

Your problem is that "The phone call is coming from within the house."

"GET OUT!!!'

And go rent Scary Movies 4. You might as weel have some fun with this.

i do that sometimes, but i also have a tv in my room, so that i can turn on something very benign, like nick at night and it gets my mind off of the very negative images that pop into my head and i usually set the timer on the tv so i can fall asleep with it on and it will shut off later

My advice would be to start thinking about romantic, or ponographic movies. Why not think about s e x while you are about to go to sleep. It helps me relax.

Maybe you should avoid the horror movies, or see something scary & funny like "Army of Darkness" or "Shaun of the Dead".
