It is between 13 to 15 days from your last menstral cycle. Ask your gynecologist. They sell ovulation kits at the drugstores. If you are trying to get pregnant then just have a lot of sex between those days, also a few before those days and a few after those days.

If you menstruate on the 23rd of the month, your cycle is actually irregular because the months vary in length. If you were counting days you'd find that you run 30-31 days in length. Most women ovulate 12-16 days before their period and within individual women, that rarely varies by more than a day. Since we don't have any way of knowing where you fall within that range, we cannot tell you when you ovulate. You'd need either and ovulation predictor kit or a basal body thermometer to determine that. My best guess is that you ovulate somewhere between day 14 and day 19.

I know I am ovulating when I get a slight cramp in one side. Also I pass a clear mucous when I wipe after urinating. And do I crave chocolate! I think I read that there is a 1-3 day span of fertility each month

Ovulation happens 14 days (give or take 2) BEFORE their next period starts. There is a common misconception that women ovulate on cycle day 14 or 14 days after their period and this simply isn't true.
