Alex smith will do better then last year with Vernon Davis but will struggle having frank gore as the running back to go to and an offensive line that really sucks and he also has no WR's to throw to Alex smith isn;t and will never be Joe Montana or Steve young in sanfran but he has the ability to be quarterback that's there to just get the job done and put up OK numbers he was a one year fluke in college the 49ers were stupid for drafting him 1st in the draft but had no choice cause there wasn't a quarterback that year worth a darn in the draft. but if you looking for fantasy number don;t go with him at all !!!!!!!!!

If you talking about Alex Smith of the 49ers. Do not expect much improvement this year but he has to be better than last year. I expect Alex Smith of TB to get more fantasy points.

Alex Smith sucked last year, he will continue to suck, proving that the 49ers can continue to draft stupidly. They can't even blame Alex on Terry Donahue.

My guess is 1500 yards, 8 tds, 10 int, 58% comp. rating. I hate to say it because im a diehard fan
