Passed down by my Mama (x). Its too short to worry yourself half to death, and problems always resolve themselves over time. Sometimes you can even look back and laugh, cause it all looks so clear with hindsight.

I'm abit of an optimist (most of the time - not all).

What is your outlook, how happy go lucky are you?

This is a wonderful outlook to have on life as it is both optimistic and is the sort of person you would wish to be around in time of crisis or when questioning purpose of life.

There is no point as you mention, to worry about the small or in fact, the big events that may steer your life off course from time to time.

As we all know, these events will pass as time goes so fast and it has a way of mending certain problems. The saying, 'Time is a great healer' is also very true and helpful in bad situations.

My outlook and motto for life is, 'Well I have nothing to lose and I can only gain' and this gives me the strength to go forth and do certain things that I am quite worried about or scared of.

These little motto's and sayings really do encourage me to try my best to live my life both productively, righteously and to the full. We all make mistakes and the past may have memories here and there of events we may regret, worry about or lose sleep over but remember one thing: The past is time that has gone forever and the present is called so - because it is a 'gift'.

Much Love, The Good Apple xx

I like the philosophy "it is what it is". But your details still apply to this philosophy. Sometimes I sit and wonder if "life is what you make it". If that was the case I would not have to worry about money so much. But "it is what it is". I would want peace. But "it is what it is". I would be able to do as I want. But that is far from the case. With this outlook you will not be an optomist or pestamist. Because in the long run, "it is what it is".PEACE!

Yeh same, because it's so simple and yet so true. After life has dealt you your cards, life IS what you make it.
Life will keep dealing you good and bad cards, ppl just need to remember that by adopting a determined and positive attitude you will always have an ace up your sleeve.
(and I don't even play cards - I just live the game of live)

Everything in life is not within your control. If life pushes you around, and does not treat you very well, life is really making you.

How you react to life is what makes you shine. So to some extent "Life is what makes you" and your response to life is what makes you happy or sad.

If you dance with life, you move back when life moves forward, and to the side when life moves to the side. If you fight the moves, and try to take control of the dance, you will fall over or worse.

yes Life is what you make it and also Life is how you make it.
My outlook on my life is good. I believe I can do anything if I really apply my self and my talents into it 100%. And if I keep my great attitude about my life and how much I want to succeed...

Life may well be what you make it. However, there are many variables that enter into the picture over which you have no control. Thus the statement is simplistic.
