I Know I Sound Weird. But I Was At Work With My Mom And My Mother Caught A Baby Mouse. I Felt Sorry And Kept It. I Have NO Clue What To Feed It And I Don't Want To Give It Up. ^_^ Her Name's M&M She's Cute As Can Be. If You Can Help Me I'd Appreciate It. xD Thank You.

I'm raising a baby mouse at the moment as well. Here are some very helpful sites:

Good luck!

I depends on how old it is. If it's still pink than there isn't really much you can do. It needs milk from the mother and will die without it. If it's fuzzy with closed eyes it's still too young. If it's eyes are opened and it kind of hops around you might be able to get it to eat specially prepared mice pellets you can get at the pet store. All the same you're better off not keeping it. Wild mice often have diseases that can make people sick.

Try giving a lil bit of lettuce, tomatoes and some crackers that might help for now since its still a baby but as it gets older you can buy some pellets for it at a local pet strore and keep on mixing in the fresh greens.

it fairly is totally uncommon for mouse dad's to consume their very own babies and mothers only tend to consume them in the event that they're "defective" (injured or broken, as an occasion). As for the baby mice, do no longer clean the bedding as in many circumstances via fact it scares the mother into no longer feeding them particularly circumstances. supply them a lot of warmth, comfortable bedding (tissue is super! Cotton wool isn't lots as some mice consume it and might choke) yet placed it interior the midst of their cage so the mothers and fathers can manage it. :) save them out of direct sunlight too. Separate the lads from the mother at 6 weeks previous so as that they gained't breed greater with their sisters and at 6 weeks they might desire to have stopped feeding from their mum. Feed the mousies bread with (low fat) milk to maintain the mother stable and supply her with greater protein. in case you supply her too lots, she would get an allergic reaction so determine you supply different ingredients for her too! you may normally cope with infant mice from day a million besides the shown fact that in case you have a skittish or worried determine, you would be suited leaving them each week :) at this diploma, it fairly is totally properly to deal with them. yet be careful as they have a tendency to roll around unexpectedly and fall off the edge of your hand! that's without doubt one among the main important negative aspects to them at this diploma. At approximately 3-4 weeks previous they're going to get to "flea" or "popcorn" diploma the place they leap around like loopy and that they are almost impossible to capture. that's fairly common as they're only studying to regulate their motor applications yet they're going to get away fairly once you open their cage. As for the cage, with infant mice, in case you have a cage with bars, they could be under 10mm aside, if that's a vivarium, it would be wonderful :) stable success on your mice! wish they advance as much as be fairly beautiful! :)
