The Ghost Town Trail in Nanty-Glo (western ) PA is considered haunted. North Hall, the present day library of Mansfield University of PA is said to be haunted by the ghost of Sarah. It is believed she fell to her death from the fifth floor of the building. There are many reports of hunting's in Gettysburg, mostly from the Civil War. There are probably many more. The following website is a descriptions of haunting in Western PA: http://www.nwpah.com/page16.html.

A couple years ago, my ex-wife, who by the way is very sensitive to strange phenomena, was working at the Jefferson House Restaurant, a former mansion, near Norristown. Suddenly she felt the presence of a ghost go through her body. She was terrified and cried for days by the experience. We checked the local newspaper archives, and sure enough, a young girl had drowned many years before in the pond next to the mansion. Later we learned that there were rumors of the mansion being haunted. Needless to say, my wife quit, and never went back! They had to mail her the last paycheck. Was it a ghost? Who knows, I only know that something scared the **** out of my wife.

I belonged to a paranormal investigation group in southwestern PA a few years ago. While none of the houses we investigated were case studies that would have links posted, we certainly went into a few that could be considered haunted houses.
