We live out of state so face-to-face isn't really an option. My only idea so far is to send personalized bibs for the baby to use when it's at their houses - "I love my grandma," " i love my uncle john," etc.

All of these ideas are great!!! I also think that you should send them cards for like grandparents day or for their birthdays to aunt and to uncle or to grandma and to grandpa. You could send the bibs along with the cards. Even though I live with my husband I went and got him an I love you card and put in there that we are going to be parents. Something very personal. send we miss you cards and sign them with you, your husband and ?????

Love the bib idea!!
Also - try sending a "care pack" to the family of Baby-sized things... mini m&m's, small doughnuts...something like that.
Could send a boquet of teacup roses (miniature roses) and a small card with a "to the grandparents-to-be" type message on them.
If you've already have a sonogram, then make a cute card that "introduces" the little one to grandma and grandpa. Or a card that says "Premering this fall / winter / spring" and a sono pic in it.
Those are just a few ideas I've come up with..

I always thought those Hershey personalized candy bars were cute it says It's a boy/girl and other things in the nutrition facts. All are great ideas though! Congrats and Good Luck!

We were able to do a face-to-face meeting to tell our parents, but we used gift bags with baby items in them. Another idea is to make a video of yourselves: show the pregnancy test, paint "BABY" on your stomach, or something to that effect.

u can do what i did if you are in collage or school or have other kids in school make a home made report card and put on there for instance if u are in school add a class names pregnecy test grade = postive or if it is your child goign to be a big brother or sister send a copy of there's to grandma saying big brother/sister grade= postive it will get them wondering and when it hts them what it meant they will be so excited

Have an arrangment of flowers sent to them (or just mom) at work with a card that says "it's a boy.......or a girl. Love ______"
