Isabelle Tyler
EXPLORE ISABELLE'S WORLD IN HER WEEKLY CHARACTER BLOG
Technically not one of The 4400 returnees (she was still in the womb at the time), Isabelle Tyler (Megalyn Echikunwoke) is the daughter of Richard and Lily. Even in a prenatal state, Isabelle's abilities were clearly well developed and powerful and continued to grow after her birth. As an infant, she used her abilities to protect but also to manipulate her parents and it was her blood alone that was able to save The 4400 when their lives were threatened by the promicin inhibitor.
Now a grown woman after a dramatic and instantaneous transformation, Isabelle will continue to struggle with making a new life for herself and understanding her powers and her important role in the future's plan.
SEASON THREE TIMELINE
Terrible Swift Sword
Having left The 4400 Center at Collier's request, Isabelle permanently joins forces with Dennis Ryland and promises to offer him protection from Collier and the 4400. Together they continue to build an army with 4400 abilities, convinced that they will need it to fight off the enemy - The 4400.
The Gospel According to Collier
Isabelle learns from her father that the wedding has been postponed because Jordan Collier was seen at The 4400 Center. Worried about Collier's return, Isabelle reveals to her father that she showed Collier a false vision of the future when she was just a baby. Richard notices that Collier seems to be the first person Isabelle has ever been afraid of. Later when Isabelle tells Shawn about her childhood vision, he explains that Collier will be able to forgive her and save her from the awful things she fears she will do. When Jordan finally returns to the Center, he finds Isabelle waiting for him. Although Collier does, in fact, forgive her for what she did in the past, he tells her to leave the Center. Why? She is the enemy of the 4400 and will never be able to change.
The Starzl Mutation
Isabelle continues to prepare for her wedding. Momentarily rattled when Shawn can't be found, her concerns are relived when Shawn eventually returns to The Center.
The Ballad of Kevin and Tess
Isabelle begins making preparations for her wedding, preparing the guest list and asking her father to plan his speech.
Blink
Isabelle shocks Shawn and her father when she suggests that she and Shawn get married. Although Shawn and Richard try desperately to dissuade her, Isabelle asks them to try and think of the marriage as an "arranged one" by the future. She explains that maybe they are supposed to get married so that Shawn can help stop her from doing the horrible things Matthew predicted. But Shawn is still hesitant and fearing he has no other option, he tries to kill Isabelle in her sleep. But when Shawn is unsuccessful, Isabelle explains that he doesn't seem to have any other options. Marriage is the only answer.
The Home Front
Isabelle in unfazed when Shawn tries to end their relationship (again) but does become momentarily rattled when Shawn's ex girlfriend, Nikki, shows up. But Isabelle gives Shawn a subtle warning explaining that she would hate to see his relationship with Nikki "end badly." Hearing this, Shawn realizes he has no choice and resumes his relationship with Isabelle.
Graduation Day
Convinced the NOVA group is responsible for Shawn's behavior, Isabelle believes the only way to save Shawn is to hunt down NOVA herself. When Matthew tries to stop her, Isabelle kills him, telling him it is time for her to make her own choices. Isabelle proceeds to take down the NOVA group, one-by-one, using her abilities. Later, Richard convinces Isabelle to turn herself in but both he and Tom wonder if she is innocent or a cold-blooded murderer.
Gone, Part II
Although Shawn tries to end his relationship with Isabelle she explains that because she's not ready for the relationship to end, "it's not going to." Blaming her father for Shawn's actions, an angry Isabelle uses her abilities to momentarily harm her father only to then fall to the floor apologizing.
Gone, Part I
Isabelle and Shawn begin a relationship, one that Matthew is eager to keep close tabs on. When Isabelle tires of Matthew keeping inquiring about her relationship and offering advice, she lets him know that she is actually the one with the power.
Being Tom Baldwin
Isabelle and Shawn grow close and in an effort to complete certain rights of passage, she asks Shawn to "be her first." Regardless of her father's advice against the relationship, and Matthew pushing her towards it, Isabelle makes her own decision and continues to pursue Shawn. When she kisses him, he is unable to resist.

Kinda iffy. Of course you can put out money and get the best players money can buy and have a great shot at the World Series this can be said about any sport. I think you see this comment most when team owners aren't consistent with their approach to making a great team. I don't consider the Sox or yankees bought teams because their management always gambles that way and they have the revenue. I do consider the Marlins, Diamondbacks bought championship because they dismantled the team weeks after their ring. It also hurts that both these organizations were in the final year for their respective stadiums leases to be up and they wanted new ones. They've never made the effort to assemble a team like that since.
