If she was really your best friend you should have forgiven her already and made up, other wise there is something lacking in your friend ship..
My best friend and i talk to each other about just about everything from our kids to our men and what we do each day.
we are excited about what each other gets and happy for every improvements that they make..

we have been best friends since 1972 when i moved next door to her. we have only had one arguement in all them years and have talked to each other daily no matterwhere we live or where we have gone..
you should be able to say anything at all to your girl friend and know that she isn't going to repeat anything at all.
is this the kind of friend that you have.. if so work at forgiving her for what she said if not. you will soon find the kind of friend that you will always invest your trust in.. have a good day.. good luck with your friend.

Okay, well, all that I can really think up of is that maybe you are over half way over it, but not entirely over it. I've been in these incidents before, where I get into a really bad fight with my best friend, and then I still feel a little awkard whenever I am around them. It's because I haven't gotten over the huge incident entirely. It just takes time.

FORGIVENESS is the only way to heaven, although you may still feel hurt, let it go, and COMMUNICATE with your friend, that although you use to be TIGHT, you are just not feeling her anymore, however you would like to bury the hatchet and move on. That way there will be no "odd moments" when you see each other out and about. You still will be on speaking terms, just not i-tell-my-bestfriend-EVERYTHING terms.
