Use short words, you're not doing too badly with your name, J! You put an extra 'e' in quickly there, you could use that in another word you see!
Naw, practice practice practice, I typed that in 2 secs flat cos I'm goooooood!!!! You too could be as fast as me!
Put your fingers on the right place on the keyboard to start with, left fingers of asdf, right fingers on ;lkj and you should have g and h free in the middle. Stay in that position and reach the other keys from there, that's the best positioning to be in, go for it J!

Practice.
The only way you will learn to use a keyboard is to use it.
Get freeware touch typing programs online. Google it.
The more you practice the faster you will become.
Don't be one of those people who type with 2 fingers and look at the keyboard for every key.

PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE. I bought and used a bunch of those learn to type faster programs they didint help. Just keep typing and soon you will find out you type fast. You just get used to were all the buttons are. You dont need to memeorize it just comes naturally after a while.

ummm, Voice Recognition software? one with AI for learning capabilities? In fact, I think there's an option to install that comes with MS Windows XP *shrugs* Not sure....just something to ponder.
