I am in the band and i play the trumpet. There was this one time when The song was so fast we had to run to get into position. We had about 45 steps to go across the field and only made it half way. Then when we turned around we smacked into the trombones and the entire band fell like dominoes, but some how we manged to make it look cool and started to break dance. It was the best half time show the school had ever seen. WOW!

Well, when I was in marching band in high school, it was many years ago, and we didn't do all the fancy things the marching bands do now in high school. Three of my children, who are also out of high school now, were in marching band, and I went with them to band camp a couple times. Whew!! They had a VERY strict band director, though, so they didn't have much fun.
My daughter played the flute, and she TRIED to have fun, but got in a lot of trouble for something she really didn't even do. When her older brother was in band camp, I remember that one of the band members got into trouble for poking fun at another kid-- we all stood out in the very hot sun for an extra 30 minutes while that guy got yelled at. Wildly strict, overly mad, band director.

Marching band will take alot of a few time up.i'm uncertain in case you will swing a sport and marching band.i became into in marching band for the period of extreme college and we practiced 2 hours widespread after college.Plus each and all of the activities you will might desire to attend.Honors instructions would be greater extreme than standard ones.you will might desire to spend greater time stuyding in case you % to do nicely.Marching band became into exciting and taught me alot of discipline.desire that facilitates!

ooohyea. During the band trip to Disney world, we had piles of these meal coupons - worth like, $10 worth of disney food. So we sold about 20 of them for $5 each to random people, and went and had an $100 dinner at one of the real restaurants there! it was amazing.

OOh Ooh, This one time at band camp, we had skit night, and my flute section performed our band camp skit. We stood in a line with our instruments, and successively said "This one time at band camp,.. I took my flute,.. and played a Bb," "This one time.....played a C."... all down the line until the last girl, who said, "this one time, at band camp, I took my flute,.. and stuck it in my flute case!" And she promptly sat down, and put her flute away.

we were warming up by running a lap & i was talking to some one by me. every one was telling me to watch out but i wasn't paying attention. finally i looked in front of me & right as i did i ran into a hurtle. now whenever a hurtle is mentioned every one looks at me & laughs.
