2 + 2 = 4
2 + 4 = 6
4 + 6 = 10
6 + 10 = 16
10 + 16 = 26
16 + 26 = 42

Here's another answer:
16 26 42
Each number is the sum of the previous two numbers. This even works if you assume a 0 before the first 2.
This is like the original Fibonacci series - 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, etc.
To the person with the "even numbers" answer - where is 8, which would be 6+2?

16 26 42 just add up the previous number with the number before it. ex, 2+2=4 then 2+4 is 6, then 4+6=10 i think it's called the fibonace theory or something. i'm really not sure about that name. good lck
