I heard you cant do much with a Bachelor's in Philosophy except teach.

I got my B.A. Sociology and it is hard finding a job that pays well and that is why I'm in grad school right now!! There are plenty of jobs out there for people w/ a degree in Sociology but they do NOT pay well.

If I could do it all over again, I would have gotten my Bachelors in Computer Science or Engineering or Business Administration because you have better oppurtunities to make more money and and advance your career.

Philosophy is rough because there are few jobs as philosophers, however it is great preparation for medical and law school.

In my opinion, the worst majors are Theater and Dance. If you are good enough to make it, they are great. However most people can't make it and are left without a back-up plan and employers who don't value the degree.

I majored in Communications and cannot find a good job. It really doesn't have much to do with your major, just kind of a job shortage!

I personally think whatever you want to learn you should learn. As far as job oppertunities go I suppose English, Philosophy, stuff like that have little calling, there's almost no money in Archealogy, but if it turns yooon yoo should do it.

my opinion is art or music. Most people that get those degrees have to go into teaching that field. It is very hard to find work and to make a living.

Basically any liberal art.

By liberal arts I mean English, History, Sociology, Philosophy, etc. etc.

Unless you plan on going to graduate school, you are screwed.
