My dad picked it up on the amazon river in Brazil, it is made out of bamboo, and decorated with a pirranha head, bones, snakeskins and colored feathers.

as described it's not authenic...and you'd be lucky to get $ 20.00 american for it!!!!the jivaros and yanomama slice the straight stalk of a pithy shoot of a certain kind of tree lengthwise carving a slight "vee-shaped wedge in each half;which are then placed back together,glued and tied....thorns make the killing point of the projectiles with cups leaf matter and feathers to seal and "tighten" the flow and ballistic flow of air trhrough the central carved air chamber of the device!!!point are dipped in the exudates from the skiin of "poison arrow" species of frogs from the forests...many live in bromeliad ponds held by the leaves of these parasitic plants!!!
