They generally crawl back out. Some hoovers with a lot of power or those bagless ones will kill them a lot easier.

It depends on the spider. Most spiders bodies are fragile enough to die in the process of vacuuming them up. Some of the larger spiders lioke an orb weaver or tarantula are sturdier and would most likely survive a trip up the Hoover.

If you hoover up flies as well, the spiders will eat the flies, and break out of the bag to seek revenge on you for hoovering them up in the first place. By this time they will be much bigger.

Put it this way, I hoovered up a small spider and thought nothing of it and carried on hoovering over the months, then one day, picked up my hoover and the bugger had crawled out much bigger!! so yes, they can survive!!

maximum bugs, which comprise spiders, will proceed to exist the vacuuming, hehehe. Ive used them to freshen up lady bugs (smells, yet is rapidly), wasps, and spiders. The trick is to no longer waste every time, and right this moment eliminate the bag, and place it in a trash bag, and tie it close. With wasps, Ive taken the bag out to a burn barrel, and tossed it into an already lit hearth to kill the critters. have exciting

No, but this is how they get bigger, feeding on the other crap you vacuum up (or dyson up)'

Don't hate lovely cuddly spiders, they do a great job for us and sometimes even keep us ticking over till morning when we eat them at night (apparently we all swallow loads every year in our sleep)

If they get REALLY big, maybe they could do the vacuuming for you!

I have always wondered this as I really do have a phobia of the things...I think my dyson kills them.....I hope so....I think any hoover with abit of power will kill them...I would say they survive if you use the hose to suck them up as they dont get brushed etc....

I vacuum up ants then turn the vac off and stuff a pesticide soaked paper towel into the nozzle and leave it for a couple of days----never seen the ants again.
