My 3 favortie teams are actually Brazil Germany and France, so i'm gonna pic the winning team of the silver medal for the 2006 FIFA World Cup. France. They should have won, but noooo, the itlalian coach had to plan a plot to ruin france's only Zidan Zidane, it's not just italy's fault, but zidane's too, he should have just ignored the fowl insult and reported it during the medal presentation in front of everyone thus italy would lose by default, get humiliated, and lose their coach, because he was part of the cause. Then again, it's just in my humble opinion.

Initially the Netherlands, because they haven't won the World Cup once despite their success and talent. I was a little disappointed when they lost to the Portuguese, but I understand that both teams could be considered equal in strength, so I let it go, and went on to support Italy for the rest of the tournament.

Germany.
Would have been a perfect host-to-win competition for them. Moreover, it would have completely silence Juergen Klinnsmann's critics, including the Organizing Committee Chairperson.
And the played good attacking football. I loved theor approach. Dont sit back and soak the goal. Score the early goal first and take the game to the opponents. Played lively football too cuz we like to se action in football and wats better action than seeing goals pumped in. Thats why Klose won the goal scorer cuz he went for it.

Portugal or any of the teams that you chose, except France. I didn't want that demonic coach to get a longer head than he already has.

i was pulling for 3 separate teams, all in different groups. England, USA, and Australia. But, I'm not sad about the outcome. I think Italy did an excellent job in the final and they deserved the win.

I was rooting for Australia, England and Germany though I wasn't disappointed Italy won they had a good world cup.

I wanted Germany or France,and they both lost 2 italy and that
is why i am not a big fan of italy.
