Check town records and the history of your house. If someone died in your house before you moved in, chances are it's haunted. My house is haunted; my grandparents are the first owners, but my great-grandfather died in our garage and he comes back once in a while.

Ask Sylvia Browne! Do you think their are Ghost in your house? The people that sold you the house should be able to tell you that. It is supposed to be told to you right from the beginning. Go to where you pay the taxes and they maybe could tell you the names of previous owners. Then go from their.

I don't know of any websites but you could check your local town records or city records or the homocide division of your local police station. Also obituaries in the local newspaper going as far back as you can. It also could have happened on the land sight.
