study what ever you want. medical schools are looking for a diverse group these days. just make sure you take and excell in bio, chem, organic chem, english and physics.
i am applying to medical school with bs in electrical engineering and one of my friends from HS got in with a liberal arts degree. also start voluntering at the local hospital, you need to get 4 hours per week for the better part of 4yrs experience with patient care(reading to them, watching doctors work anything counts if you learn) to excell in the MCAT take the princeton review course it was a god send for me(i got a 31) its well worth the money.
good luck

I think that you should go and make a ob/gyn... Cause see the miracle of birth everyday would be such a wonderful thing to see. And plus they do make alot of money. But if that is not your thing this go and be an antheglososit. They make very good money as well. Those are just some of the many options that you can be in the medicine field.

It depends on what kind of doctor you want to become.
Biology and chemistry is a must though.
Psychology is always good as well if you're talking about a medical doctor.

If you are still in highschool, I would talk with your counselor. However, the basics would be chemistry, anatomy & physiology, microbiology, biology, psychology, etc.
