A college professor is great, but you have to love people and what you are doing to make it work. My advice would be to go to a liberal arts college and take as many classes as you can that are as different as possible (pre-med bio, o chem, constitutional law, psychology, English literature, and western civilization are some great ones) to get a base of knowledge. From there specialize into the field of your choice. Do you like bio? Then you could be a doctor, dentist or professor. If you hate it, then maybe law school or teaching is for you. Most liberal arts schools allow you to be undeclared for 2 years, so the best major you can have is "undeclared, pre-med". This way you can get those classes if you want to be a doctor, dentist, or professor, but can still change your mind and explore different fields.
Good Luck!

The thing is, unless you are rich, you need a job to pay for school. If you need to keep good grades. I was an RA in the dorms last year. It was a great job. I sat in the lobby, got paid and did homework. You need to figure out what time of day you study the best. My brain shuts down after about 8pm. I am a morning person. How you study is also a key factor. Some study in groups, some alone, or quietly, or with music, or outside. Each person is a little different. Try them out and see what works best. Some people memorize, others write things over and over. some read thing over and over. Find what works.

Take an aptitude test through your Student Services or Student Counselling department. Find out what you like and would be good at.
In first year university, you get to take an array of courses. You won't have to choose a major until second year, so select courses from an array of disciplines. Be prepared to work hard though. Too many get caught up in the "university lifestyle" of drinking and partying and can't or don't come back for second year.

Based upon the HORRIBLE grammar of your question, I'd say you need to stay in school... maybe go back to 4th grade. As far as your lack of desire to work and your predetermination that you are worth double minimum wage, I'd say you are also lazy and arrogant... not to mention a drain on society. Get a job, start contributing. School is for kids. The whole university system in the U.S. is a huge scam. I never went to college and I earn a comfortable salary and work reasonable hours. My wife went to college. She makes about half of what I make and will be in debt for the next 20 years paying off her student loans. Where's the logic there???

Apply for an internship. You get credit, pay, and you've invested little time in discovering whether you'd like to pursue a particular career path.

You should get a PhD and become a professor. This way you can lecture and publish papers after you finish the official education.
Just don't get one for English...

Interesting! How do you expect to applying what you have learned. Some people stay in school their entire life. Become your own boss and create your own destiny.

Work is fun. You just waste your life away and then you get to drive home in a nice car! Vroom.
