The only way that question could actually be answered is by changing your definition of peace to "Happiness in an unperfect world". To obtain world peace in your sense would mean that everyone would have to be the same person, not one difference. This world would obviously be really boring. But in the sense i had, we would still have politics and other arguments going around because even in world for of peace, people still have different opinions even if they all have the best morals, and not a sliver of evil or greed. The reason for this is because of their experiences and their make-up.(genetically). So peace would have to be defined different in order that to happen.

The world though was made for us to live in a life filled with hardships and such but in which we would all enjoy it more. With the world made different, there would not be nearly as much to enjoy. So in a way, a lifestyle was chosen by the way the world was created, fun over long life.

Sadly I believe the only way that humans stop killing humans is the need for an invasion of our planet by space aliens. I am not saying they even exist - but it would need to be some threat that we would all need each other to survive in order for us to come together. We need a messiah (second coming - whatever) to bring about world peace.

get rid of the dollar...learn to share the worlds natural resources...learn that we are all human...not an individual races....but as long as there is a division in religion...we will never have peace...of all the wars ever fought the almighty wars of religion still exist...man has never witnessed peace... in order to obtain it...there would have to be someone in charge....and everyone that has ever been in charge has turned corrupt or has been the agenda of some political propaganda...we will never see it...nor hear about it...even in a peace treaty...there is none...it's just an intermission of the war....

There is no such thing as "world peace." It is only a concept. The world, since the beginning of time has never been at peace. Wish it was different.

Seriously....remove mankind from the planet.

World peace is a dream. A wonderful dream but it'll never happen.

It's within mankind to envy, hate, be jealous, etc. There will always be war. It's in our nature.

Its impossible. The only way for it to work would be to eliminate human ego and individuality.

Something that simply cannot be done anymore than you can pull the stripes off a tiger.

You can have something like peace, but it would never be lasting.

That question was answered in a scifi movie in the 1950s. Build a race of robots to maintain order.

It can't happen because there are too many people with too many different opinions who can't ignore the differences long enough to be at peace

It's just a dream, unfortunately. We can get closer by learning to accept each other and realizing that violence doesn't solve our problems, it just makes more. But there will always be idiots.

Utopia does not exsist. World peace will not happen until Christ returns. Sorry. I don't like it any more than you do-I don't like all this violent killing and hatred. But it's what we are.
