Yes, it is a serious question and don't get upset for me asking this question or for what I post. I don't condone drunk driving.
Years ago I was at the FOP "Fraternal Order of Police" with a good friend who is an officer. Anyways, the chief was paying for the drinks and since I had ridden over in my friend’s cruiser I didn't think about how much I had to drink and I was going to crash at his house and get my car from the station the next morning.
Well for some reason or another we ended up at the station to get my car. I wasn't fallen down drunk but I did have too much to be driving. Well my friend said he would follow me to his house in his cruiser so I didn't have to worry about being pulled over. In that short 5 mile trip I thought I did rather well but was told after we got to his house I was all over my lane and he thought 2 times I was going to hit another car and he would have stopped me.
Never did it again but that is my one time I did.

Never Never Never & never will as 99% of the time I have my kids in the car with me. I am NOT going to put my kids at risk. I rarely drink because I have my kids to look after & when at home if I do decide that I want to have a few my husband stays sober so we have someone sober at all times to watch the kids. I am the families designated driver for all occasions as we have a van so if family need to go out somewhere & drink they either ask me as they only live 6 doors away or they catch a cab. My husband lost his licence for drink driving 19 years ago when he was young & not so smart. I met him 10 years ago. As a result of this he has been riding a push bike to work for 19 years. We would love to live out of town on acreage but can't due to him not having a licence & having to ride to work. Think long and hard about your future how will it impact on you or your future family. Also not having a licence will mean that you may only be able to go so far with your work. My husband has found this out. If a person is thinking about driving drunk then stop & have a think about what your life would be like without your licence. On the other side of things is drink drivng is dangerous & can kill. There are a few sites about drink driving for anyone who wants to have a look.

Nope, but a lot of my friends have done exactly what you described. One time a friend of mine fell asleep and smashed into a tree. He had a horrific bruise the next day that covered his lower abdomen and had a busted up face. By the looks of the car he should have been a lot worse. After that he cleaned up his act and joined the Army.

I have driven drunk and I never ever will again, I am so incredibly thankful I never hurt anybody when I did it. The worst case I ever heard of--a drunk driver runs a school bus off the road and like 15 kids burn to death, how in the name of God could someone live with that guilt?

I have a number of times. Its not smart and ive actually wrecked one car when I was drunk. Hard to go the bar and drink and then have to walk home.

Yeap....i did it once. Me and my boyfriend were at the bar and he had worked late so he was just going to meet me and all of our friends at the bar.... we all started drinking and drank way to much. When we were leaving, he got in his car and i got in mine to go our separate ways to go home. Then later that night I got a phone call from his parents saying that he had hit a telephone pole and was killed instantly.
I have not and will not drink ever again.

Yes, when I was 16. I was dating a 21 yr. old and he got me drunk on Boones Farm Apple wine. I'd never tasted alcohol before. Then after I was already drunk he gave me real liquor. Not a pleasant experience. He raped me that night. So ladies...know who your dated really is.

It was freakin' shameful.
It was a miracle that I didn't get busted, or hurt somebody.
Never did it again.
