Why do Liberals hate babies?

Why do liberals want to kill innocent babies?? Does it make them feel better about themselves?

Why cant serial killers choose to kill their victims? What is the difference?

"but I would not presume to tell anyone what to do with their own body" The bodies are attacked!! The mother and baby are not one! They are two seperate people! Like siamese twins! One twin cant kill the other because they are attached.

"The government should not be making personal decisions that like" So they government shouldnt tell us not to kill? I thought the government was supposed to set up laws to protect eachother and make life work without killing eachother. But when we cant grow up enough to live on our own, then government is not doing their job

The thing about the abortion debate is that the two sides are arguing entirely unrelated issues. Pro-life people say "abortion is bad". Pro-choice advocates say "The government should not be making personal decisions that like". It's not about abortion. It's about who gets to make the decisions.

Face it -- someone is going to choose. It's either going to be the individual, or it's going to be the majority (through enacted laws). If the majority gets to choose, then they are effectively imposing their belief system -- which is almost always religiously-based -- on everyone.

So, do you want the ability to make such decisions for yourself, or do you want the government to take that decision away from you?

The concept of reproductive freedoms is not whether you agree with the individual choices being made. It's whether you think the government should have the right to take away and mandate those choices.

Why can't people understand that freedom of choice is not a minority value, even if the majority happens to disagree with the minority's choice?

Ooh scary. You are obviously not pro-choice. I am liberal in some areas and conservative in others. I think women should have the right to choose. I don't believe in late term abortions, but I would not presume to tell anyone what to do with their own body. I understand your position, but I thoroughly disagree. I agree with coragryph and not just because he is hot.
