I'm interested in buying a SUV (sport utility vehicle), but I can't make up my mind. I like the GMC Envoy, I also like the Hyundai Tucson. I don't make a lot of $$$$. Any suggestions?

If you don't have too much money, I think the Envoy might be pricey. Take a look at the Dodge Caliber or even the Dodge Nitro. The Jeep Compass or the Saturn Vue are nice suv's with reasonable prices. And they're all '07 models.

GMC Envoy is a lot more vehicle than Hyundai will ever dream of producing. Better ride, better resale value, better quality, more towing capacity, more interior room, better safety standards, and GM has OnStar. OnStar is extra $$ but if you buy it yearly you can save some big bucks. You can pick up a nicely equipped, 4 wheel drive Envoy, 2002 with 60k miles for about 12k depending on where you live. Do some shopping around, take a few for a test drive and see what you like best. That is the only way to make an educated decision.

Have you checked out the Saturn VUE or the newer larger SUV (that I suddenly can't remember the name of)? I just like Saturn because I HATE to haggle over price. I also think the Saturn VUE is coming out as a hybird this year could be worth looking into with gas prices. I also think the Ford Escape is available as a hybird. Also check warrentees the Hyundai may have a really good warrentee like 10 year 100,000 miles but make sure you know what all that applies to.

well the Tucson will cost a whole lot less so if money is your main factor, go with the Hyundai. The Envoy is roomier than the Tucson though.

I don't know exactly, but from my experience, if you like strength, reliability, and comfort, and you don't mind fuel consumption, go for GMC or any other American cars, but if you like less fuel consumption, and you don't really mind less reliability, and so on, go for Hyundai or any other Korean or Japanese cars.

Even if you can afford the car, are you going to be able to afford to fuel it?! Think about that and good luck!
