Yes i love the Red Sox and there is a little Ray of Hope in the Wild Card race. The White Sox have the hardest schedule of the contenders left. But in saying that the Red Sox have to start winning games and a lot of them at that if they want to catch them.

I am, have been, and will always be a Red Sox lover!! Unlike Yankee fans, we do not desert our team when they fall upon hard times. This year looks bad after the 5 losses to the Yankees, but stranger things have happened. I won't give up on the Red Sox until and unless they are eliminated. Stay the course!!

Cheers!!

Yankee fans cannot understand this, but Red Sox fans are not necessarily dependent on the Sox making the playoffs. They didn't in 2000, 2001 and 2002, but have sold out Fenway continuously. We cheer for them, win or lose. If you are a new fan since 2003, this may seem harsh, but we have to be prepared for any eventuality.

Of course. I've been a fan for 45 years. I don't quit on my team. Yes '04 was great, but don't expect to win every year. Hell, maybe it'll be a long time until we win again. It's alright. Win or lose I'm a Red Sox fan.

Red Sox fans are just Yankee "wannabee" fans. Even after winning it in '04 they never acted the part of a champion. Their day has come and gone.

Not outside of Beantown. I heard the best quote rrecently. Since they won the World Series, Red Sox fans have become arrogant and insufferable. Just like Yankee fans always were..

Of course there are. Red Sox fans are the most fiercely loyal fans in all of baseball, and trust me because I'm a bandwagon Tigers fan.

A good September by the staff, held in the game by the defense and with the offense they have can lead them to playoff spot
