Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

This has happened to me before, also. As far as I know, there are two possible reasons it could have happened to you: 1) The wax itself may just have been too hot. 2) You're having an allergic reaction- either to the wax or a topical lotion that was applied to your freshly waxed skin.
If no lotion was applied, you can clearly rule that out. If your skin formed little blisters before it scabbed over, it's very likely you WERE actually burned. If not, it's a little more tricky to determine what exactly you reacted to. If you're too afraid to risk trying another application to determine what type of wax is affecting you (there are several- be sure to ask your salon what they use), you can certainly consider bleaching your "mustache" or even threading. (Threading hurts more than waxing at first, but since no chemicals come in contact with your skin, you are not likely to have an allergic reaction).
Lastly, if your "mustache" really isn't visible, why not consider leaving it alone? (Just DO NOT try to shave!!!)
Good luck!

If it was your first time, the hair was stronger and didn't come out as easily hence the irritation. You may have had an allergic reaction to the wax. Some mild irritation is normal but if it happens again, go somewhere else to get it done or you can do it at home with Sally Hansen wax strips.
Oh and DON'T Shave!!!!! I can't believe she would suggest that. The hair will just grow in darker and you'll have a constant 5 o'clock shadow

absolutely everyone has tiny hairs on their face and throughout their bodies (we are mammals regardless of each little thing). I advise that you do not pluck them or shave them because then they could get thicker and also you'll likely improve an quite mustache. it really is common for an excellent form of girls persons to do it, even fashions do it. attractiveness salons must have waxing remedies yet in case you imagine it really is too extreme priced, you may basically bypass on your nearest pharmacy and purchase prewaxed strips (they arrive in packing bins and that i imagine maximum of them comprise diverse sized wax strip searching on the position you want to wax). you ought to wax it at the same time as it begins growing noticable back (each individual is diverse so there is not any particular time reduce). i desire this permits :)

if you want to get rid of it just shave it everyday. carry razors with you in case you forget in the morning. its better on your skin and better in the long run. I have heard that waxing strains the muscle under your skin.. so shaving is not such a bad idea.

What the hell, do not...I repeat DO NOT shave it. That is the worst advice I've seen yet.
I suggest going to a place that does threading.
:)
