Over the years I have locked keys in many different cars. Depending on the vehicle, I broke in and retrieved them using the easiest method for that car.
Some are easier than others, but there is not a car I can not get into, if I have enough time!!

To unlock your car without the spare you need: (1) a wire coathanger, (2) a pair of pliers, and (3) LOTS of patience. (This actually happened to me last weekend.) >.< Use the pliers to untwist the coathanger and make a little hook to grap the door lock. Then pry open the door just enough to work the coathanger through and try to hook the door lock to pull it up. This took me forty-five minutes. Where might you find a coathanger and a pair of pliers? Believe it or not, a passerby actually went home and came back and loaned them to me. It never hurts to ask!!!
Or you could just call a locksmith if you don't mind shelling out around $50-$75.

I did on the way to class. Class ended at 10pm and some guy broke his car's antenna off to try and help. It didn't work & AAA came to help. The guy felt super-dumb.
