Are the prisoners on death row not alive? It's yet another example of the Republiconartists' hypocrisy. They say that we have no right to take another person's life, that only "god" can do that, but only when it comes to abortion. When it comes to the death penalty, **** yeah! We can kill people, because we're the Almighty U.S.A. They hate America and deserve to die!

Once again, flawed logic on behalf of the Neocons.

Republicans are a strange animal. No other creature contradicts itself more. One minute they say choose life, the next minute they say fry the bastard. One minute they say we are ALL born in sin, the next they say "a fetus is an innocent" I really wish they'd make up their minds, don't you? Their precious christian views oppose such arts as films, books, and even sculptures when they depict "morally offensive" things like homosexuality, but they'll turn right around and give rave reviews of things that depict oppression, repression, killing, blowing things up, and general violence. Anything not consistent with their views is "propaganda" or has an "agenda". My problem is not with WHAT they believe in, but rather with their absolute refusal to hear anyone who believes otherwise. It's doubtful you could find any liberal (although there are probably some) who blasted such christian oriented films as Chronicles of Narnia for having an "agenda". To find such conservative views of films such as Brokeback Mountain, you have only to do a web search, there's plenty. Why do we have to be so terrible to each other just because we have different beliefs? Why cant conservatives and liberals meet on some middle ground? After all, we are all human and have to coexist; why not do it peacefully? We can start with you not calling them "Repubtards" OK?

it fairly is only you. The death penalty is locate on people who have been convicted of severe crimes that have led to the death of others. The convicted is in my opinion to blame for the act, as in Mr. X made the choice to homicide Mr. Y. The death penalty is far less with regard to the death of the convicted and greater with regard to the fact the community makes carrying it out. It says that that's unacceptable habit and it will never be tolerated in our society. Abortion kills a fetus which isn't to blame for any incorrect doing and has no determination interior the priority.

This is one of the most twisted logic arguments that has been around for a long time. The answer is so simple and logical, it is almost an embarrassment to have to repeat it.

It has to do with innocence verse guilt. Simple isn't it?

I'll tell you what the height of hypocrisy is. Hypocrisy is to put the life of an innocent child on the same level as a guilty rapist or murder is just plain ignorant as well as hypocritical.

I am a democrat and pro choice. I wish more babies were put up for adoption, I wish more people were responsible in their birth control approaches. But I have no problem with the death penalty. If some murdering scum is put to death, the world is a better place.

Republicans (right wng) are more religious, thus in the Bible, they believe "an eye for an eye" in that if someone kills several people on purpose then they feel like that killer should be put to death
I say put in an express lane and stop letting them wait over 10 years to get whats coming to them

Hypocrisy and they want votes. If you are pro-life, you should be against the death penalty as well as abortion. I am against both because both are murder no matter what.

Because convicted criminals who have taken an innocent life deserve their life to be taken. A fetus is innocent and doesn't deserve to die. We dont support killing the innocent...only the guilty. What an ignorant question....you seem like an intelligent person (for a liberal) so why can you put that brain of yours to good use and figure that answer out without posting it for all of us to see your ignorance.
