It's a great album, but I'm with the other answerers on Hunky Dory. Mmmm, that's one album I've not listened to in the car for ages..........soon change that!

Well that was one of his first, from 1972 already, so it's a rather cruel thing to say he hasn't gotten any better over the years. In hindsight I think he has, as 1969's "Space Oddity" is almost as good as Ziggy, his score to Labyrinth in the Eighties was great and in 1997 I loved Earthling. Have you heard "Heathen" actually? I am curious about it.

I think Diamond Dogs, Low, Scary Monsters and Super Creeps and Hunky Dory are better.

I like all of his music. Ziggy Stardust is pretty good. I sometimes like to listen to it when I'm driving long distances.

Respect ot the Dave-Miester! I have a good compilation double-CD of his, one of many issues of "greatest hits" and that's the one (two, actually) that I spin the most.
