girls OR guys: do you think tight pants on girls makes them look fatter or skinnier? Or do loose pants....?

OR do loose pants make them look better? What is your opinion? In my opinion, tight pants make girls look smaller, but that's just me. It's actually according to the girl's body type... am I right? Or do baggy/loose pants make them look skinnier or fatter? Thanks for your opinion!!

i'm a girl and i think that it really depends on the cut of the pants and the body type. if the pants are so tight that you are spilling out of them then you will look fatter. i think pants that fit snuggly are a good option unless you are very overweight then you should wear a looser style.

Tight pants and Loose pants are both bad in my opinion. Because if you get them too tight and then for most girls the extra stomach fat is hanging over the top and they are really fighting to breath in them. And with the loose pants they are too baggy to be fashionable. Also could be misconstrued as a sign of stealing if there are many pockets in the pants too. I think a nice boot flare jean or straight leg style would fit nicely, in the girl's correct size.

It depends on the size of the person. If you are a size 0-8 thight pants can make you look ridiculously small if you are not shapely. If you are a size 8-14 it tight pants can make you look shapley if you do not have a pot belly. Anything bigger than a 14 should not wear tight pants. Fitting pants are better than any others. Not baggy, not tight, just fitting.

I think they all look nicer in tight pants. I have seen some very over weight women that have squeezed into tight pants, that does not look too good. As long as they are slim to a moderate weight the tight pants look fine. It also depends on the individual. If they can hide the belly then over weight is fine. It depends to on the shape of the woman's rump. For the most part I think women know how best to display what they have.

I think pants that are tight, without causing bulges, make a girl look skinnier. If the pants are TOO tight and cause bulges/muffin-tops, then it makes the girl look fatter.

Tight pants certainly make a person look fatter, especially when the seams and pockets bulge out of alignment.
Even worse are vertical stripes that are stretched out of alignment by too tight a fit. You end up looking like a fat contour map.

Tight pants (or any kind of clothing) make a girl look fatter unless she is size 0. They shoe every bump, bulge and layer.

Super loose clothes make you look like you're hiding something.

Go for clothes that fit just right.

Just My Opinion.

It is very tough for a girl to pull off wearing tight pants and make it look good. But when they do pull it off, it does look really really good. But also less approchable.

Loose pants can look good too and within reason can cover some imperfections. I would also say that they make the girl appear more approchable.

But again it's just my opinion.

tight pants... like skinny jeans? well they look good on people from sizes 0-6ish? but that's only if they wear like a tunic. if they wear a tight shirt with that... they just look anorexic. plus size women should wear what fits because wearing tight pants might show one too many curves. also, if they wear baggy clothes, it just makes them look 3 sizes larger than they really are.
