gameboy advance or gameboy advance sp?

i have never had a hand held before just a megadrive and snez and ps1 and ps2 tho i want to get a gameboy and i looked at a gameboy and saw a gameboy advance and a gameboy sp but i dont know which is the better of the 2 and if you can play games that are compatable on both or what pleasde help me with as much info as possible thank you im only intrested in these 2

The SP is the way to go. It has a rechargable battery inside so you doun't have to buy them. The best thing about it though is it has a backlight so you can play it in the dark. The Advance does not. I bought the Advance for my son and then 6 months later bought him an SP because of the batterys and the light.

ok there is very few differences between the two but here they are

1.The GameBoy SP has a built in light
2. the new look isn't just for show it also protects your screen if it's dropped or something.
3.It's compatible with gameboy color and gameboy advance games.
4. The size is another thing you can actually put the gameboy SP in your pocket with out struggling to put it in and pull it out.

well there ya go I would suggest the GameBoy SP it's simply better.

gameboy advance sp has a flip screen and a built in light. They both are able to play the same games.

Buy none the best handheld to get is a PSP. It has better games and graphics.
