It's not too late. We can just sort of pick him up, dust his suit off and apologize for the inconvenience. We tell him he looked like the guy we were after, but when you really get up close and see his features, it's clear he's not the right bad guy. We drive him back to the palace and give him a complimentary coupon book for Round Table Pizza and sort of diplomatically ask if he can maybe restore a little order in his country - because while he's been dithering in jail all this time, it's been going to pot.

Yeah sure, why not? While your at it why not give Osama a Congressional medal of Honor. Saddam is much worse than Osama ever was and ever will be; remember he also commended Osama for September 11th. Yes he was happy about it; and after he's killed I don't know how many hundred thousand of his pwn countrymen you want to free him. The only way Iraq will get under control is to strentghen their government and security forces enough for them to handle their own country. Until then the US has to stay there. Remember Iran the world's largest sponsor of terrorism would love to be in defacto control of Iraq and its oil.

Yeah, that's a good idea! Maybe we should have put the Nazis back in charge after WWII so they could restore order. Perhaps if you people would let the military do the job the way it should be done, we'd be finished by now with a lot fewer casualties.

NO. we shoot just put 2 bullets in saddams head and end him. As for Iraq, it's unlikely that we can bring it under control (main reason being that the current system/regime is very resistant to a change in strategy)

I hate to break it to you or all and sundry however the iraqi's at the instant are not precisely "comfortable feely" human beings. their justice gadget isn't equivalent to any interior the west. Police brutality is a ordinary prevalence and you terrific no longer mouth off to the police officers or the different protection brokers. Iraq is a brutal place the place in any different case functional and in many cases knowledgeable human beings kill over faith. Too many human beings attempt to impose western values on arab society and that's no longer how the arabs perform.

Yeah, he'll just gas all of 'em, just like he did to the Kurds when he couldn't control them.
Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on your viewpoint, we are fighting a politically correct war.
