Last season is almost in the can now and they say that's all folks...but Atlantis lives at least one more year.

From what I understand, they are shopping it to other networks and a possible big screen wrap up.

Heck yeah, I'm disappointed! Disappointed that the idiots at the SciFi channel seem to think that "Painkiller Jane" and "The Dresden Files" will be better shows than SG-1, or that ECW fits in the tv line-up of the network.
There's something fishy in Denmark. Given SciFi's claims that ratings had nothing to do with their decision, I can't help but wonder what underlying factors went into this monumentally stupid decision.

I am very disappointed!
The show is not dead yet however. Keep watching the rest of the season, email the "Sci-fi" channel, mail NBC and "Sci-fi" tell the producers you support them, sign online petitions and get your friends to watch. There is so much we can do to save the show. Search around on the internet and you should be able to find the information you need. If not ask on here and someone will be able to get it to you.
Save the show! (And watch Atlantis too!)

From what I've seen of SG1, it seems like it's been a good show. Can't say I've watched much of it myself... these days I barely have time for one scifi show, and it's Doctor Who. :-D

It did suck once Richard Dean Anderson was off the show. He made it worth the wild to watch, there is no sense of humor now- don't like it

It's sad... but it's been 10 years... time to move on... and I DO have all the episodes on either VHS or DVD, so I can always go back and play them
