I'm not EXACTLY sure, but (and I presume that you're referring to the Nintendo games, here) I believe that you have to give your Slowbro the 'King's Rock' to hold, and then trade it with a friend. It should then evolve, then you can trade it back and it's yours to keep! Good luck. The more I think about it, the more that I'm sure that's correct!
Oh, and I'm pretty sure that 'King's rock' evolves some other Pokemon, too, so you may want to research that some more before deciding to evolve your Slowbro. On the other hand, it sounds like you really want a Slowking, so all the best with it! They are pretty cool! n_n Hope that it works for you!

u get a slowking by giving the king's rock 2 slowpoke then trading it over 2 another game. and slowpoke is in leaf green.

i'm wondering what games...
gold/silver/crystal has mystery gift, sometimes gives kingrocks
fire/leaf have a few critters that can pick up items, sometimes you get a kings rock
both games give you one through regular gameplay
now... you need to trade a slowpoke with a kingsrock held
NOT a slowbro. a slowpoke. the first form. you cannot evolve it into a slowbro and then from that to a slow king

Give him a king's rock, trade, and poof, you have something uglier than the nice little slowbro you couldv'e had.
