Just 10 bucks here and there. I guess its important to me because I feel like I can bring attention to the features of my face that I want people to notice at first glance, and downplay the parts I don't really like. It gives me more confidence because I know I look good. I don't cake on layers and layers of foundation followed by bronzer, blush, and heavy eye makeup in an attempt to make me into a person I am not. But I do throw on a little for work and going out, and sometimes I jazz things up for the bar or clubs. I don't think its shallow or a desperate attempt to boost my self esteem.

I used to spend a lot, now I am not wearing as much, so I am not spending as much either. I used to have no limit for spending on makeup. I always want to look at my best and at the time, makeup helped.

I normally get makeup as gifts because people know I like it. I normally spend about $40 a year on it. This is because for each theater production I'm in, I have to end up buying something because I lost it or I don't have the right colors for the role or other things like that.

I Dropped close or maybe about $200 on makeup before. I bought it all from MAC Makeup at Nordstroms. It is important to me because it brings a whole different type of beauty to your face. I can wear no makeup at all and still be beautiful but it is nice to change it up a bit.

I spend maybe an average of $50 a year. I used to buy all kinds of cosmetics but the older I get the less important it is to me. My hubby likes me to wear it when we go out, and I do wear a little for work but keep it simple. I wasn't blessed with nice skin, so I wear foundation, a little powdered eyeliner, mascara and a little blush. On the weekends I generally go without it.

About 15 bucks for buying mascara, eyeliner, lip gloss, nail polish and make up remover. I use Maybelline.

It's important enough that I want to look good and I would put it often.
But it isn't THAT important that even when I'm home all day I would wear make up, or if I'm just going out for less than 2 hours.

I used to spend a fortune with Prescriptives brand products. But then I discovered Mary Kay. The products are great. They keep my old lizard skin from sagging too much, they are a lot less expensive and they last long. I just call up my rep and she mails them out to me and life is a groove.
