My monitor is 19" and it's awesome.Nothing is distorted and I wouldn't trade it back to my old 17" monitor for the world.

You have to set your display settings to match your monitor size. For example, I use a 19" widescreen, and my fiance uses a 24" widescreen. I keep my resolution at 1440x900.
To change your settings, go to Control Panel, Display, Settings, and change the resolution to match your screen.

Not if you have a good graphics card & an up to date driver. If that were true, they wouldn't bother to market high res widescreen monitors you can also use on your P.C.

it really depends on the graphic card that you have. I use a 25" monitor and have had no problems.
