I don't have perfect looking armpits and I wish I did. I am just a bit confused and worried because on my armpits, there are lumps that ressemble zits/acne, yet it is not. Anyone with similar problem and knows what to do?

I don't mean to be gross or anything, but under these tiny lumps, sometimes I can see hair underneath that is stuck... it just bothers me so much.

You should probably get it checked out by your doctor. There's a new strain of staph infection that's highly resistant to conventional antibiotics called MRSA (I forgot what the acronym stands for). One of the symptoms can be abscesses & cellulitis that form on the armpits or other parts of the body. It's usually treatable with a round or two of an antibiotic such as Bactrim, but has been known to recur. Sometimes the doctor will do a procedure called an I&D (incision & drain) where s/he will inject lidocaine in the affected area, then cut it open & pack with gauze to allow the abscess to drain.

The downside to many commercial deodorants on the market today is that they can actually trap bacteria in the armpits. That's why this part of the body is particularly prone to this kind of infection. (Also, shaving allows for bacteria to enter through the pores as well.)

Arnold says "IT'S NOT A TUMOR...."

Seriously, for sexy pits you need this:
1-clean, sharp, new razor
2-shave daily
3-shave in same direction as hair growth
4-shave with a good moitrurizing, unscented soap (Olay)
5-dry thoroughly before immediately applying deodorant (use a hair dryer if necessary)
6-do not use deodorants that have alcohol based acents, roll-ons, gels- or clear solids (instead use baby-powder scent invisible solids like Dove or Suave). Baby powder solid deodorants keep the moisture out of the hair follicles that irritate them and create bumps. baby powder solids are so gentle they also keep you from getting bikini-line razor rash if you use it there, too.
Do this for at least 10 days before you think that it won't work. You have to give it a chance.

If you shave your armpits it's most likely razor burn.

Are they ingrown hairs from shaving??? If they are, try waxing or using a chemical hair remover like Nair...
