Can Ipod nano be connected to any speakers, ex.computer speakers, not just the ones that are designed for them?

I have a cable that one ends goes into the ipod and then there is two cables one for right speaker and one for left speaker.

If it is the 1/4" mini jack on the speakers it will work. Any PC Speeker should do. I have about 4 different sets of PC speakers that all hook to my zen micro at once. May i suggest the booster below, it saves nano battery life, and lets several speakers hook up at once. Its worth it .

Follow Davors directions; however, the sound is better with speakers that are made to use the nano's computerish looking connector.

Yeah, take your computer speakers and unplug them fromt he computer and plug them into your Ipod Nano, adjust the volume, and viola.

It can be connected to anything with a line level input.You can connect it to self-powered speakers.

hi lower back, as you reported, you'll want an amplifier. maximum audio equipment require an amplifier, yet you could honestly hook it up on your stereo via a Y cable (headphone plug on one part & rca-pink&white- on the different) plug the RCA's into your imput on your stereo, plug into your ipod headphone jack on the ipod press play. you additionally can plug any pc audio equipment into your ipod, as they have a headphone plug too.

yes, they can, they must have the same plug-in as the headphones
