i want to become an accountant. is the math really tough? tell me

I'm not an accountant but I did take 3 years worth of Accounting in high school... The math is easy... if you can do Algebra you can do accounting....At least basic Accounting...I'm not sure what you'd have to do with college courses though.... Now I do my own taxes my friends and families taxes and I balance check books for friends and family... Just basic stuff... I can make some very good budgets too...I'm not sure what you'd have to do with college courses....

It's kinda tough. Im taking business calc right now and it's killing me. But if you have the right resources, passing shouldn't be a problem. Good luck with accounting!!

I am an accountant. The math is mostly algebra and statistics. I actually flunked trig in high school!

The math is killer I understand. You have to know a lot of it plus all of the tax laws to boot.

my husband is but he is really smart and he had no problem with the math but he says the math is compicated.

if you have to ask how hard the math is, well.. you wont' become one, you have to love math, regardless of how hard it is.
