the av's are great! Sakic is the best player on that team. and while they had him, Patric Roy was sweet also...i'd like to here if u do or don't like the av's team!?

I am not sucking up for points.
But Roy was always my fav. And since his retirement I go with the local talent. Barnaby Joe Sakic.
They are in about the toughest division! Hopefully the goal tending change will produce results this year.

Current Joe Sakic, by far... Altho, Marek Svatos, JM Liles and Wojtek Wolski are young, they will carry the Avs into the future.
Milan Hejduk is a close second..
Former Avs, Adam Foote for his heart and soul, Ray Bourque, even if just temporary, gave the team the edge to get over the top, and Patrick Roy, who could trash talk in two different languages!

I am an Avs fan, but wherever Teemu Selanne goes, there goes my loyalty and heart. Unfortunately my favorite Av was David Aebischer. :( I'm afraid that trade is going to jump up and bite the Avs one day. So with Aebi gone, I have to say Joe Sakic. He will be in the hall one day after he retires. Next will come Teemu. When they played on the Avs together, Teemu's two sons played winger to Joe's son on their little league hockey team. It was like getting a glimpse into the future. Those 3 boys were so much better than anybody else on their team, it was obvious that they got their dads' genes.

If i wasnt such a Flames Fan, The avs Would Probaly be it, My fav player would be Svatos, Though i really did like Tanguay when he was there, Haha!

Roy was great and so was Sakic! I like Colorado but not as much as Calgary by a long shot. Sorry. :(

the avs are only my second fav, behind the leafs, but Joe Sakic is my favourite player, i have his jersey and everything

I love the Colorado Avalanche!, they are by far my favorite team. I like the new guys, being Svatos, Wolski, and John Micheal Liles!

I do have to say that Alex Tanguay is my favorite player ever!!!! And I do enjoy watching Joe, even though he is the only one who is going to lead this poor team this year. They made some horrible choices!! But that is just my opinion. But I do love them anyway.
